...and I just signed another petition regarding the situation in Tibet ... the petition will be delivered to Chinese President Hu Jintao showing that a violent response to the Tibetan protests is not acceptable.
My parents set sail yesterday on a boat from southern Japan that will take them eventually to Hong Kong. With the Olympics looming, let's hope China might listen to the global community and approach the Tibetan situation with a little more dialogue and less violence and oppression.
